Privacy Policy

This notice is provided pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 («GDPR») and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended («Privacy Code») to anyone interacting with the website rodarentmotors.it(the «Site»), a vehicle-rental lead-generation site, and its contact channels.

2. Categories of data, purposes and legal bases

2.1 Browsing data and cookies

The Site's systems acquire certain data whose transmission is implicit in Internet protocols (e.g. IP address, handled for operation/security by the hosting provider). The Site uses technical cookies (which do not require consent) and — only after your consent, with prior blocking — statistical (Google Analytics 4) and marketing (Google Ads, Meta Pixel) cookies.   • Legal basis:Art. 122 of the Privacy Code (consent exemption for technical cookies); Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) for statistical and marketing cookies; browsing data strictly necessary for operation and security under the Controller's legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

2.2 Rental requests via the configurator / contact form

To request a quote or booking you can use the on-site configurator/form. We process the data you provide (name, phone, email, message, vehicle category, pickup location, indicative dates) together with campaign attribution parameters (gclid, utm) when present.

  • Purpose: respond to requests and manage the requested rental.
  • Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

2.3 Contact via social networks and messaging

The Controller can be reached via WhatsApp and Facebook. The platform operator, Meta Platforms, acts as an independent controller under its own notices; data may also be processed in the USA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision of 10/07/2023) and/or Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC).

2.4 Statistics and marketing

With your consent, the Site uses Google Analytics 4 (aggregate usage statistics), Google Ads and the Meta Pixel (measurement of advertising campaigns and remarketing). These tools are blocked until consent is given and can be revoked at any time (see Cookie Policy).

  • Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

3. Processing methods and security

Data is processed with IT tools in accordance with Art. 5 GDPR, applying technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk. No automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects is carried out.

4. Recipients and processors

  • Hosting: Hostinger, Processor under Art. 28 GDPR; EU datacenters.
  • Google (Analytics 4, Ads) and Meta (Pixel), as providers/independent controllers where applicable, only after consent.
  • Qualified third parties (technical/administrative advisors), appointed Processors where required, and competent authorities in cases provided by law.

5. Transfers to third countries

Hosting data remains within the EU (no transfer). The use of Google (Analytics 4, Ads) and Meta (Pixel) may entail transfers to the USA, covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or SCC, and only occurs after your consent.

6. Retention

Data is kept for the time necessary for its purposes: rental requests for the time needed to handle them and any disputes; data with tax relevance for the statutory terms (usually 10 years); the consent cookie for 180 days; Google Analytics 4 data for up to 13 months.

8. Your rights

You may exercise the rights under Articles 15-22 GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection) and, where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time (Art. 7(3)).
